Project Introduction
The objective of the project was to Supply and Install the complete underground potable piping network for New Leenah 2nd Phase. In order to carry out the project, complete building construction for the Pumping stations, laying of underground Polyethylene and Ductile pipes, and installation of water meters to all housing in the vicinity of New Leenah 2nd Phase. The project contains mainly the following major items:
- Civil works which include site preparation and construction of the following :
- Underground trench works for the piping network
- Construction works for the Pumping Station
- Construction of the underground Water Tanks and manholes
- Mechanical works include the following :
- Supply and Installation of Polyethylene pipes for a total length of 30,000m, with pipe sizes ranging from 110 mm-160 mm dia.
- Supply and Installation of Ductile pipes for a total length of 5,000m, with pipe size of 300mm dia.
- Supply, Install and carry out the Testing & Commissioning for the Water Pumps with all accessories.
- Supply and Installation of Water Flow Meter to the Housing sector.
- Supply and Installation of Water Refilling facility for the Water Tankers.
- Electrical works include the following :
- Supply and Installation of LV Panels for the Pumping Stations for all Electrical Utilities including earthing network.
- Supply, Install, and Testing & Commissioning of Control Panels associated with the Water pumps.
